Cooper, an American Contemporary artist, is celebrated for transforming the everyday into vibrant works of high art. His personal and vivid depictions of domestic scenes—featuring vintage record players, plants, and books—bring joy to the simplest details of life. Known for his mastery of color and pattern, Cooper’s style is often labeled Neo Contemporary, though he prefers to let his art speak for itself.

Drawing inspiration from artists like David Hockney, Cooper creates paintings that pulse with energy and emotion, aiming to overwhelm viewers with positivity. After being headhunted by a record label straight out of art school, Cooper’s career flourished with moves to Miami and Los Angeles, where his work extended into murals, installations, and collaborations with major brands like Puma and Vans. In 2020, he returned to his hometown in Indiana to establish his studio and further hone his craft.

Available now at the "Beyond Boundaries" exhibition at 125 Space, in partnership with Maddox Gallery, Cooper’s dynamic use of color and autobiographical themes has drawn comparisons to great contemporary still-life artists like Hilary Pecis and Jonas Wood.
